Oh, beloved! [x6]
Oh, why did my crazy heart begin to fly?
Oh, where did this courage come from?
Oh, beloved! [x2]

साज़िश में शामिल सारा जहान है;
The breeze weaves, ah, the breeze weaves
a fabric, a fabric,
and even raindrops didn't keep away here.
The whole world is involved in an intrigue;
every single particle has this entreaty:

चलना आहिस्ते, इश्क़ नया है;
Oh, beloved!
The glances speak, the world judges
the tongue of the heart,
ah, the tongue of the heart.
Love begs and love desires some typhoon.
Tread carefully, it is a new love;
this is the first time I have made a promise
Oh, beloved! [x3]

Beloved … oh, beloved!
Barefoot on embers,
I used to walk,
ah, I used to walk.
It seems that I used to be raised
among strangers!
Take me where yor country is,
this ignorant world is my enemy
Oh, beloved! [x6]

O Re Piyaa (Hindi: ओ रे पिया, Urdu: و رے پیا) "Oh, Beloved!", is a song of the 2007 Indian dance film "Aaja Nachle".
The video clip plays an abridged version of the original soundtrack.
It shows Dia, a successful dancer and choreographer, remembering her times as a dance student in her small homeland town, and later breaking her arranged engagement and eloping with a foreign photographer she fell in love with.
Dia's role is played by the legendary Indian dancer, actress, and producer
Madhuri Dixit.
The song is interpreted by the famous Pakistani ghazal singer
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan (although it grammatically expresses the point of view of a woman).
The lyrics were written by the Indian composer duo
Salim-Sulaiman, and the music was composed by the Indian song and screenwriters Jaideep Sahni and Piyush Mishra.
