Kabir

Kabir, also known as "Kabir Das" or "Kabir Saheb", was a XV-century syncretist Indian poet, mystic, and saint from Varanasi, who is equally revered by Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs. Most details about his life are uncertain. His poetry condenses much of his philosophical teachings, and it is still abundantly utilized in contemporary South Asian lyrical arts.
